Macksville USD 351 is a 1A district serving approximately 300 students Pre K-12. USD 351 is composed of the communities of Belpre, Macksville, Radium, Seward, and Trousdale. Macksville USD 351 graciously acknowledge the Lewis district USD 502 in our cooperative 7-12 agreement. We appreciate and enjoy having all the Lewis families participate and help throughout our district year. The district employs approximately 63 contracted employees, including 31 teachers, counselor, librarian, nurse and administrators. Our pupil/ teacher ratio is 10/1.

Macksville has a total district area of 360 square miles. The district houses two attendance centers. USD 351 belongs to the South Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative. Macksville offers educational programs for 3 year old, at-risk 4 year old, all day kindergarten, and 1-12 education. The High School offers dual credit vocational courses through Pratt Community College.

Macksville is a member of the Central Prairie League. Members in the CPL are Claflin, Quivira Heights, Otis-Bison, Kinsley, St. John, La Crosse, Ness City, Western Plains and Victoria. Students have the opportunity to participate in the following activities: Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Cross Country, Forensics, Band, Vocal, Quiz Bowl, Kays, Kayettes, Student Council and National Honor Society.
